New Information Resource On Seattle

Released on = October 10, 2006, 11:42 am

Press Release Author = Jed & Gina Reay

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = Oh, to visit Seattle Washington, what a great way to relax,
if you want or explore a beautiful city. There are mountains, rivers, the ocean,
and a wonderful down town to explore and see what this city has to offer.

Press Release Body = With so many things to do and places to go it seems impossible
really to entertain the idea of sleep. Who has time for mundane activities such as
that when there is a world of knowledge and beauty to explore right outside your
hotel doors?

It seems that wine tasting has become a big thing in Washington.

There are several great wineries in the region and it would actually be quite an
adventure to visit as many of them as possible. Some of the more prominent wineries
in and around Seattle are: Lopez Island Vineyards, Whidbey Island Vineyards and
Winery, Bainbridge Island Vineyards and Winery, and Hoodsport Winery and Tasting
Room.

Some wineries and vineyards are only open to the public by reservation or during
certain hours so be sure that you are check with them and plan accordingly before
visiting. Another thing to keep in mind is that there are many more wineries in the
Seattle area, these are only a small sampling of the vineyards that abound in these
parts so don\'t limit yourself if these don\'t seem appealing to you.

So, after your day on a wine tour, head back to your hotel, sit back and relax. Get
ready for your next day out in this fabulous city.

Down on the pier are wonderful shops and you can\'t miss the Pike Place Market. It
is always full of fabulous shopping: fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers,
home grown honey and fresh caught fish, just to name a few items.

Pike Place Market turns 100 on August 17, 2007. To celebrate and commemorate this
pinnacle moment in Seattle history, they are hosting events and activities
throughout 2007. Their biggest events begin with Daffodil Day on the first day of
Spring and culminate with a fantastic party on the Market\'s cobblestones on August
17. Along the way, they\'ll be in community parades and hold traditional Market
activities like Summer Sundays, the Market Street Festival, and Sunset Supper. They
will also have a traveling historical exhibit, lectures and movie nights, and much
more.
