Press Release Body = Sidram Power announced today the selection of Ed Wujciak, a veteran of over 40 years in the entertainment industry, as General Manager of Operations. He brings to Sidram Power his experience in all phases of temporary power and climate control for festivals, special events and film and television production.
In 1982, Ed Wujciak founded Ed's Crystal Electric, the first entertainment specialty generator supplier in the South Florida area. Ed oversaw the growth of his business to the point that, in 1998, Ed's Crystal Electric was purchased by Showpower, Inc., the premier global supplier of generators and climate control to the entertainment industry. Ed remained with Showpower, Inc. as manager of its South Florida Region until 2000, when Showpower was purchased by GE Energy Rentals. Ed remained with GE Energy Rentals until 2001.
Ed Wujciak's experience in the entertainment generator and climate control industry, combined with his 33-year residence in South Florida, make him an ideal selection to oversee the operations aspect of Sidram Power's business. Ed's experience in the South Florida area, as well as his having been associated with a global provider to the entertainment industry, will allow him to make a significant contribution to the Sidram team.
As General Manager of Operations, Ed will oversee Sidram's technicians as they conduct maintenance and quality control of inventory, as well as delivery and installation of rental and sales equipment. He will also be responsible for supervising on-site maintenance, refueling and monitoring of rental equipment throughout all phases of projects and events.
Sidram Power, Inc. is a global provider of generator and climate control rental equipment. Strategically located in the South Florida area, Sidram supplies equipment to the South Florida, South American, and Caribbean markets, as well as throughout the rest of the world.
