What To Do With All This Stuff!

Released on = October 21, 2006, 10:50 am

Press Release Author = Loretta Higgins

Industry = Internet & Online

Press Release Summary = A simple newsletter led to a \"light bulb\"
moment, when faced with a three generation family collection in storage.

Press Release Body = A \"light bulb\" moment came to us when faced with this problem:
What will we do with all this stuff? My Sister and I now 69 & 70 years old are the
end of the line of hoarder, savers and collectors. We were the offspring of \"hard
times\". Precious treasures from Grandparents born in the late 1800\'s, now dead forty
years, survived in family storage. Parents, now in their 90\'s acquired and
accumulated more stuff, but soon, they want a simplfied living style. Special pieces
of china, crystal and keepsakes will go with them. That leaves Sis and I with the
question, what to do with the stuff? Some are treasures and some just fun
collectibles. Becoming internet savvy five years ago, we began reading the Tias
Newsletter. We loved old recipes, tales of antique finds and more. That \"light
bulb\" moment came from the Tias Make-A-Shop online advertisement, and we set about
creating Katie\'s Attic. We learned to photograph the items and now add them to our
shop at
http://www.Tias.com/stores/katiesattic.
We hope others will have as much fun poking through the goodies as we\'ve had
presenting them. Are we starting a new trend?
