Fresh off Performances on the Tonight Show and Victoria Secret Fashion Show Rising Singer Dancer Sandra Colton Brings It All Back Home

Released on = December 13, 2006, 1:31 pm

Press Release Author = Trevor Rasmussen / Big Wheel Productions

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = Sandra from FOX\'s So You Think You Can Dance to sing Anthem
at Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl - December 21, 2006.

Press Release Body = Las Vegas, NV ----- Las Vegas native and former University of
Oregon Cheerleader turned rising star Sandra Colton will step on the field once
more, this time singing the National Anthem in front of more than 40,000 fans at the
Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl, December 21, 2006. For Colton, whose
singing/dancing career has taken off in the past year, it is a homecoming like no
other.

"I grew up in Vegas and spent 4 years in Eugene," says Colton. "Countless friends,
teachers, classmates and family will either be here in the stadium or watching the
game on TV. Not many people get the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a
bowl game, but even fewer get the chance to bring together their past and present
like this. I can't wait to step out on the field."

Televised live on ESPN, the Las Vegas Bowl pre-game show, in addition to the anthem,
will consist of a multiple jet US Air Force fly by and a 100-yard American flag
stretched across the field by 250 uniformed airmen and women, most of whom, have
just returned home from Iraq.

Fresh off an appearance on the Tonight Show singing back-up for Latin superstar
Paulina Rubio (Dec. 6th) and dancing behind Justin Timberlake at the Victoria Secret
Fashion Show (Dec. 5th), the former Fox "So You Think You Can Dance" finalist has
exploded onto the scene this year both as a singer and dancer. At press time, Dec.
11th, she will be performing at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway as a
dancer with Rihanna and singer for Paulina Rubio. Dec. 16th she will make her debut
on the FOX's Mad TV.

Colton has recently completed her own record called Just Dance. Armed with
choreography by the famed Brian Friedman (Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Maya, Pink,
etc.), a great set of pipes, industry street cred and all star dancers (whose
credits include Cheyenne's World Tour, "So You Think You Can Dance," Season 2, the
new J Lo project for MTV, etc.), she is shooting for the stars. The album is
available for download at all major online outlets and is scheduled for worldwide
retail release in February 2007.

A former Laker Girl and Star Search Dance Champion, Colton has been performing since
the age of three. She got her start on the Vegas Strip as a song and dance opening
act with her sister opening for entertainers like Bill Cosby, Lou Rawls, Savion
Glover, Gregory Hines and the Nicholas Brothers.

In addition to having her own Fruit of the Loom commercial on air right now, she was
recently featured (Sept 8, 2006) on the CBS special "Fashion Rocks," performing a
remix of the hit song "S.O.S." with Rihanna. She can also be seen in the just
released third installment of Bring It On, All or Nothing now available on DVD and
was featured in the latest video from Latin artist Chelo and rapper Too Short for
Chelo\'s second single \"Yummy.\"
