BizCard Reader quickly and easily converts the vital contact information on business cards into a convenient, searchable, digital database that can be easily synchronized between PCs, notebooks, PDAs, Outlook, Goldmine and other popular PIMs.
The compact design makes the Presto! BizCard Reader an ideal solution for \"road warrior\" business executives, enabling them to update and organize their contact information anywhere.
The included, palm-sized gray-scale scanner automatically retrieves vital contact data from any business card, and NewSoft\'s advanced OCR and SFIT (Smart Field Identification Technology) quickly and accurately assigns the data into fields for rapid search and retrieval. In addition, Presto! BizCard recognizes up to seven languages including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.
While other business card scanners support color images, the BizCard suite is designed specifically for mobile professionals who need, fast and accurate processing and quicker links into their contact management software, PDAs and Smart Phones. It also supports double-side business card scanning, more detailed field recognition (first name and last name, etc.) for easier data management, and improved recognition accuracy.
Presto! BizCard Reader provides 4 viewing modes for searching, editing and managing the scanned contacts.
Users can categorize the contacts in up to 32 categories and search those contacts by first name, last name, company information, or any by any other data column.
The kit also includes precisely customize label templates with information taken directly from the contact data, to print professional-looking mailing labels, name badges, stickers, and more.
