Just participate in online typing championship, compete with other contestants from
all over the world and monitor your progress.

Press Release Body = The First Typing Championship from the ErgoSolo company
finished last Saturday. 6 fastest typists in the English language received virtual
cups and qualified for real prizes. The typing speed record shown this time is 642
cpm (128wpm).
The next Championship is held January 3, 2007 and lasts till the end of the month.
Participation is free and just requires a simple registration.
The Championship tests the contestant\'s typing skill in various situations. Typing
speed, accuracy and fast text production are main the criteria for selecting the
champions.
Each championship consists of 4 tours and lasts for a month. Each tour offers the
unique task which tests a particular skill. Championships are held monthly.
The mission of the ErgoSolo company is to encourage new typists to improve their
typing and feel comfortable in authentic working conditions. For this purpose the
Championship is held in two categories: A (fast typists) and B (novices).
From January 2007, extra championships are introduced: championship for programmers,
championship of numbers, etc.
Two languages are available for now: English and Russian. German and Italian are
coming soon.
The official website contains detailed schedule of the nearest contest, the rating
of each contestant and samples of creative tasks.
Learning to type is just the first step. The next is taking part in the championship.
