About R2Powered R2Powered was started as a hobby project in mid 2006 between its two founding members: Carina Kivisto and Kjell Karlsson who also lives together. Carina Kivisto enjoyed digital design and photo manipulation and started on her own time for fun. Kjell Karlsson has been working in the large format printing industry since 1994 and liked the idea to use open source softwares for the web developement of the R2Canvas project.
