Bangalore, December 6, 2006: InterSystems Corporation, a global software company specializing in advanced database and integration technologies, today announced the appointment of Mr. Sameer Vatsa as Country Sales Manager - InterSystems India. In this role, Mr. Sameer Vatsa will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the business unit in India.
Mr. Vatsa's broad experience includes work as Director of Sales at Network Programs, Senior Manager (Telecom) at Siemens Information Systems Ltd., and Account Manager at HCL Ltd.
"Sameer is a seasoned executive with 15 years of sales, marketing, and management experience in the industry," said Carlos Eduardo Kuhl Nogueira,Group Director, MD South America, South Africa, India & Middle East, InterSystems Corporation. "His strategic leadership skills will strengthen InterSystems's ability to build relationships and deliver results to clients", he added.
He is a Mechanical Engineer and gained his degree from the prestigious National Institute of Technology in Karnataka.
