Five-year-old sketch comedy troupe Suspicious Clowns has been selected to close
Chicago Sketchfest 2007, the largest nationwide festival of its kind. It is the
group\'s third appearance in the festival\'s six year history. Directed by Vincent
Truman, the 2007 performance of the group is a revue written especially for
Sketchfest. \"Since we were asked to close the entire festival, we thought we might
as well write something good,\" remarked Truman.


Suspicious Clowns is currently in pre-production for its ninth original show, slated
to debut in April 2007.

With its balance between the cerebral and the inane, Suspicious Clowns has been
honored to receive the following:
* Prime Time Pick by Chicago Magazine (twice)
* Top 10 Thing to Do This Weekend by the Chicago Sun-Times
* Radio interviews/appearances on BFN Networks, Red Bar Radio and NPR
* Four features in the Pioneer Press, a suburban chain of newspapers
* Special features by the Chicago Tribune for two productions (\'Suspicious Clowns 5:
Clown on a Hot Tin Roof\' and the three-act play entitled \'Remote\')
