(Homestead, Florida, January/February 2007) It is about that time again!
Time to come together and support the Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation scholarship
program, by attending the 2nd Annual Prayer Breakfast to be held on February 10,
2007 at the Caribbean Banquet Hall in Homestead, Florida.

The proceeds of this event, benefit one high school senior from each of the
following schools: Homestead, South Dade, Southridge, Robert Morgan, and Coral Reef.
"Last year was truly a wonderful event that benefited five outstanding young people
from our community," board member Charlene Brandon said.

This year's breakfast will featured a series of prayers, Scripture readings, hymns,
special presentations by community youth groups and also remarks by local religious
officials. Over a hundred people attended last year's event.

"The fact that we can have one shared experience of faith among so many people is
truly a blessing," attendee Liz Howell said. She continued, "The power of prayer is
an important part of our daily lives. It means so much to me to see people from all
different backgrounds come together to share breakfast, deepen our relations, pray
to God for his guidance and blessing and look for inspiration to make our community
and young people better citizens."

Doors open at 7:30 AM, and breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00 AM. To
purchase tickets please call (786) 738-1006.
