announced that Jason Davis has rejoined the Firm as a Trial Partner in the Austin
office. Davis returns after running his own private practice in San Antonio and
serving as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western and Southern
Districts of Texas.

announced that Jason Davis has rejoined the Firm as a Trial Partner in the Austin
office. Davis returns after running his own private practice in San Antonio and
serving as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western and Southern
Districts of Texas.

Davis now specializes in representing individuals and businesses in civil and
criminal government investigations, white collar criminal defense, regulatory and
administrative proceedings, forfeiture, and grand jury compliance. He also
represents individuals, financial institutions, and other business entities in a
wide variety of commercial and fraud-related disputes. Davis will lead Thompson &
Knight's White Collar Crime Practice Specialty Group.

From 1996 to 1998, Davis was an Associate at Thompson & Knight in the Trial Practice
Group. He received his law degree, with honors, from The University of Texas School
of Law in 1995, and his undergraduate degree, with honors, in Political Science from
Trinity University in 1992. Licensed in Texas and Florida, he is also an active
member of the American Bar Association and San Antonio Bar Association. Davis is a
Barrister for the William S. Sessions American Inn of Court and a Fellow of the
Texas State Bar Foundation.

While a federal prosecutor, Davis was selected to train other prosecutors in complex
trial organization and advocacy skills, including the innovative use of trial
technology. Davis received numerous awards and honors, including Prosecutor of the
Year for the State of Texas in 2001-2002.
