Oak Park Illinois becomes new hot spot for Real Estate Trends

Released on = January 26, 2007, 8:47 am

Press Release Author = AB REALTY

Industry = Real Estate

Press Release Summary = The \"Bubble\" has not affected Oak Park, city renovations and
professional residents have make Oak Park values grow steadily and heavily

Press Release Body = Oak Park, IL is Home to many celebrities in both the
Television, Cinema, and Music world (Richard Gere, Frasier cast member, Top ten MTV
artists) to name a few. Oak Park real estate has always been desirable due to
historical Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, the Hemingway Museum, a very trendy
downtown filled with salons and coffee shops, an art district, and of course the
blue and green line trains and top rated school districts. But today, real estate
in this area boast a new win in economic-survival and growth-rate.

Most all other areas of real estate values in Chicago are at a suffering point due
to 2005 and 2006\'s poor lending practices and overpriced housing practices. While
towns such as Palatine, Naperville, and Arlington Heights were selling condos for
the price of houses, Oak Park real estate remained steady and city officials and
businesses such as Starbucks, Panera, Whole Foods (and soon Trader Joe\'s) continued
to cooperatively upgrade the area. At the first of the year 2007, the \"Real Estate
Bubble\" burst in Chicago causing some market suffering in most every area EXCEPT Oak
Park because Oak Park never ballooned its values in the first place.

Condos such as units in the 415 S. Maple Building (reference and info:
http://realty.swilabs.com/main) are still economically priced at about $253 per
square foot even though the value of such condos in that exact location are
predicted to increase near exponentially over and above the standard 3% annually.
