The New York City gay-dating scene can be hilarious, heartfelt, sexy, shocking and downright scary, as imagined in this novel of a man on a hunt for love. And he does. Drag queens, hustlers, actors, lawyers. His dates range from funny to frightening. Meanwhile, his mother uses Dr. Tunick\'s techniques to land a man, as does Quinn. One failed date after another discourages Curtis at first, but he also begins to learn truths about himself that make his single status seem obvious. If his mother and Quinn can find romance in the Big Apple with little effort, then it\'s about time for Curtis to start enjoying the fruits of his labor...of love.
