Released on = January 17, 2007, 2:35 pm

Press Release Author = Diana Chaloux

Industry = Healthcare

Press Release Summary = Destined 2 Be Fit based in San Antonio, Texas launched a
series of new wellness solutions for businesses. The focus of the new programs is
continued education and motivation for employees seeking to improve health and
fitness levels.

Press Release Body = San Antonio, TX January 18 2007 - With health insurance costs
related to obesity sky rocketing and the growing need for an accurate health and
fitness education. Destined 2 Be Fit has recently launched a series of wellness
programs available for local businesses.

Owned and operated by certified personal trainers Jonathan Uphoff and Diana Chaloux,
D2BFit recognized that current wellness programs lack the continued support and
motivation people need in order to set and achieve their fitness goals. "Obesity is
an epidemic, not just in San Antonio but across the country," says Chaloux.
"Employers need a better way to aid their employees in developing a healthier
lifestyle in order to prevent the problem from getting worse."

The D2Bfit Wellness programs main focus is to provide initial health and fitness
information to each employee, and then provide continued support, guidance,
motivation and a fitness and nutrition education. "Traditional wellness programs may
offer employees a gym membership, however if someone is uncomfortable or intimidated
in the gym environment, it isn't likely the membership will be utilized," Says
Uphoff. "Another common type of wellness program involves employees being told their
health stats, they know they need to eat healthier and exercise, but they don't know
where to start and that is where Destined 2 Be Fit can make a huge difference."

Recent statistics from the Texas Department of State Health Services show that the
cost of obesity on the economy exceeded $10 billion dollars in 2001, these numbers
are rising rapidly as a greater percentage of the population becomes obese. Obesity
increases the occurrence of many preventable diseases including type II diabetes,
certain cancers, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Chaloux says, "Obesity is far easier to prevent than to treat, if we can stop the
problems before they start we can not only reduce the high cost of obesity, but we
can improve the quality and quantity of our lives."

The Destined 2 Be Fit Wellness programs offers employers several options including
in house fitness assessments for each employee, in house seminars conducted by the
D2BFit team for continued motivation and education, along with an in home training
program complete with full online fitness support for each individual employee.

"The online support system is an amazing tool that we offer, each employee can track
their own goals and progress, receive guidance and coaching from certified personal
trainers, and meet others who share the same goals and struggle with the same
issues," says Chaloux. "This continued support is crucial when it comes to making
and maintaining changes to eating and exercise patterns in order to improve their
health and fitness for life."
