Press Release Body = January 5, 2007 - TargetProcess Company is pleased to announce the availability of TargetProcess 2.1, the latest version of its innovative agile project management solution.
TargetProcess is an ASP.NET 2.0 based agile project management software product. TargetProcess helps software development companies to simplify planning, tracking and quality assurance activities. The product is designed to support geographically distributed teams and facilitate agile software development practices like Extreme Programming and SCRUM.
The major new feature of this product release is the new Test Cases module. The Test Cases module allows QA teams to create test cases, bind them to user stories and assigns them to test plans; to create test plans for each build and assign them to QA engineers; to run test plans via Test Runner; and to view Iteration/Release/Build completeness and quality based on test run results.
\"Test cases are the time proven practice that closes the gap between development and QA,\" said Michael Dubakov, TargetProcess founder. \"Implementation of the TestCases Module in TargetProcess is a significant step on the way to combining project management, development, QA and other product life cycle tasks into a single integrated solution. Also with TP v2 we will release new versions each five weeks. This is possible since we use agile development practices and TargetProcess for product development coordination.\"
