through healing relationship principles.

Mission Statement:
Power & Compassion Christian Counseling provides personalized marriage and family
therapy to reunite parents with their adolescent child. Separation and the reasons
thereof create the opportunity to develop a more meaningful and trusting
relationship. Strong healthy bonds of love and communication can be reestablished to
create a vision through which the family can move forward toward a successful
future.

All families deal with problems! The family is a crucible for stress and struggles
each member experiences daily. Whether it is a major problem like substance abuse,
serious illness, unhealthy coalitions in the family or personal conflicts between
family members, it will take a toll on family relationships.
Our weekend intensive program will help your teen become reunited in a manner that
will promote healing. Your family will be able to learn how to identify family
disharmony and promote unity.
At-risk teens returning from treatment often deal with issues related to perceptions
of being unloved, feeling shame, resenting control and keeping emotional distance.
The antidote for such hurtful emotions are healing principles such as these:
covenant, acceptance and forgiveness, empowerment, closeness and communication that
promotes intimacy. Knowing the difference between harmful and healing relationship
dynamics will point families in the direction of health and unity. Successful family
members, embracing these healing principles, will be able to combat the relational
problems and promote a healing environment for the at-risk teen. Healing
relationship principles will move family members toward self-actualization and
success, whereas repeating the hurting patterns will move them toward further
strife. Constructive growth patterns can result from conflict when family members
are able to hear and respond with appropriate understanding. Resolution of core
fears and conflicts are sought in order to bring harmony and closeness between
family members. Intimacy is the fruit of vulnerable sharing and working through
family problems together. Your Montana family weekend retreat will afford your
family the time to deepen relational intimacy and your level of interaction to
promote successful emotional connections.
