Press Release Body = VRSim is pleased to announce the latest innovation in welding
training. SimWelder (www.simwelder.com) is a cost effective, stand-alone appliance
that helps train better welders faster. By giving students more weld passes and
instructors objective feedback, SimWelder augments traditional training.

Using SimWelder students enter an interactive virtual environment that merges
computer-generated data with physical props. By simulating the welding process, no
gas is burned, no metal is consumed, and no waste is created. Students get more
passes, instructors get better data, and companies save money.

"We have created an exceptional product. The SimWelder is a reliable augmented
reality system that delivers real value for our customers," said Matthew Wallace,
Chief Executive Officer and President of VRSim.

SimWelder, a second-generation virtual reality training appliance, is the result of
intensive research and development. The initial concept of using Virtual Reality for
welding was developed by VRSim for General Dynamics Electric Boat with funding
provided by ManTech (U.S. Navy Manufacturing Technology Program) managed by the NJC
(Naval Joining Center). Phase I of the welding simulator provided a workable proof
of concept, but costs hampered widespread application. "The high cost of the first
virtual welding trainer sent us back to the drawing board," stated Matthew Wallace,
CEO and President. "We revisioned the product from the ground up and focused on our
goal of providing state of the art training at an affordable price." VRSim designed
SimWelder in consultation with industry experts with the end user in mind and to be
of immediate value to both instructors and students alike. "Our preliminary results
from our clients are that they are reducing total training time by over 15%," said
Wallace. "Using SimWelder means clients save money and time."
