To run the application the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 has to be installed on the device too. After installing the Pocket PC CAD viewer its icon appears in the Programs window of the portable device (see the figure 1). After this any CAD file stored on the storage card of the pocket PC can be opened through the File menu (see the figure 2).

In combination with all its functions the Pocket PC CAD Viewer represents a nice and convenient tool for viewing CAD files on the way. It can be used by the construction and other engineers in the field where desktop computers can\'t be used and notebooks are considered too bulky.
CAD Import. NET for Compact Framework represents an SDK for software developers. It contains all classes used in the Pocket PC CAD Viewer and additional classes that provide an access to the CAD entities. The source code of the library is written on C#.NET and the library can be used by the code written on any language represented in Visual Studio .NET. It can find a wide use in the software community.
