for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), one of the prestigious government
institutions in UAE, for the development and integration of its portal system.

Press Release Body = The project is a sophisticated governmental portal model
developed by CIT Global who has been acting as the technology expert in the project
and has designed and implemented the technical architecture of the portal. The other
participants in the project are BEA Systems, the infrastructure platform provider
and Documentum, the archiving system vendor and Xerox Middle East.

ECSSR research center has developed an important site to fulfill its' professional
research and educational excellence targets. With lots of exquisite resources such
as; researches\' results, videos of different events, publications and much more, The
site provides users with up-to-date information supported with advanced
multidimensional search and ePayment capabilities.

CIT' mission with ECSSR is to provide the solution components for the content
management, archiving of all information of ECSSR, Video Streaming and Publications
and developing a very advanced back-end system. The challenge was how to provide a
solution that can solve the technical problems of their existing system's
performance and reliability by setting a robust design that meets their current
needs, and expand to meet the future ones. The solution developed by CIT Global also
took into consideration the look and feel of the portal, ease of use and user
interactivity with an innovation in viewing and getting the required information in
an effortless and quick way.

The project is a comprehensive portal with an advanced content and document
management System that provides the targeted customization and personalization
required by each end-user as well as access control to the portal resources,
besides; it supports e-Commerce services implicitly and builds a flexible expandable
framework easy to be edited and maintained, that emphasizes that portal usage within
the system is very vital for all the mentioned advantages.
