National Golf Career School Expands Myrtle Beach Campus

Released on = February 12, 2007, 9:42 am

Press Release Author = Patty Adams

Industry = Education

Press Release Summary = To accommodate the school\'s increasing enrollment,
SDGA-Myrtle Beach has nearly doubled their campus size. The expansion means new and
improved facilities for students of the golf career school.

Press Release Body = February 12, 2007 - Myrtle Beach, SC. In the nine years since
the San Diego Golf Academy came to Myrtle Beach, enrollment has increased
exponentially. In order to accommodate this rapid growth, the golf career school
has doubled the size of its Myrtle Beach campus, making the new facilities available
to its students in early 2007.

"When SDGA-Myrtle Beach first opened, we had four students and a staff of two,"
mused Paul Zagnoni, President of San Diego Golf Academy. "Today we have more than
360 students. Our staff has grown to include 10 PGA professionals, six educational
administrators, a business manager, and a full-time club fitting and repair
specialist."

With growth like this, SDGA-Myrtle Beach had no choice but to expand their campus.
More than nine thousand square feet have been added, bringing the overall campus
size to 20,000 square feet. The additions include expanded outdoor facilities, such
as two putting greens measuring 2,500 and 800 square feet, respectively. Students
are also enjoying brand-new, state-of-the-art training equipment: three indoor
simulators offering computerized video analysis, two laser launch monitors, and
other equipment designed to perfect the students\' golfing techniques.

In addition to the educational benefits of the new, expanded campus, SDGA-Myrtle
Beach is also now able to offer improved student amenities. The campus now boasts
two computer labs with more than 70 computers combined, wireless Internet access, a
student lounge, library, and an expanded club repair department. The new facilities
were opened to student use in January of 2007, after six months of renovations.

"Our goal is to reach an enrollment of 450 students within the next two years," said
Zagnoni.
