CHARLES BOWEN SR. has developed a reputation for over 40 years as a virtuoso in his musicianship and presentation. Performing and appearing on countless jazz classic recordings--including playing with members of the famous MILES DAVIS QUINTET of the 1950s, and PHILLY JOE JONES, one of the most influential drummers in modern jazz-"LIKE THE NIGHT" is Bowen's first solo endeavor.
