Press Release Body = SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. February 12, 2007 - The golf industry\'s
premier golf college, the San Diego Golf Academy proudly announces that Bret Melson,
an accomplished student at SDGA Hawaii Campus, has set a new world record for the
longest hole-in-one ever scored. Melson aced the 448-yard, par 4 at the Ko\'olau Golf
Club in Oahu, Hawaii, and his amazing story can now be viewed at
http://sdgagolf.com/world_record_hole_in_one.php.

"I think every golfer dreams of acing a hole at least once in his or her lifetime,
but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought about acing that particular par
4," says Melton. "I knew the ball had reached the green, but when my friends and I
got up there, we couldn\'t find it. We looked for 15 minutes and I was totally
shocked to find it at the bottom of the cup."

The Ko\'olau Golf Club is notorious as being the toughest golf course in the world
and it is the home course of the SDGA Hawaii Campus. With a slope rating of 158 and
a course rating of 74.4 from the gold tees, the 448-yard hole is also rated by the
club as the \'toughest hole\' on the course. Its deep hardpan bunkers, sloping
fairways, deep ravines and the surrounding thick jungle make it a golfer\'s
nightmare. Melson is the first person ever to ace the hole.

Previously, the longest straight shot hole in one in golf history was hit by Robert
Mitera on October 7, 1965 at the Miracle Hills Golf Club in Omaha, Neb., where he
used his driver to ace the 10th hole from 444 yards.

"SDGA would like to recognize and congratulate Bret on his tremendous achievement,"
says Rob Nelson, Campus Director of SDGA - Honolulu. "We wish Bret the best of luck
in the future, although it appears he has plenty of that already."
