A PICTORIAL BOOK ABOUT AMERICAN BLACK INVENTORS

Released on = March 25, 2007, 10:49 am

Press Release Author = AFCHRON

Industry = Education

Press Release Summary = A PICTORIAL BOOK VOLUME ABOUT
"AMERICAN BLACK INVENTORS"

Press Release Body = For Immediate Release, Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 5, 2007.

This reporter found this book to be quite informative. Many of the topics covered in
the book are not commonly known or even taught in our public schools systems. I was
not aware of any of the inventors covered here other than George Washington Carver.
I wasn\'t aware of the number of inventions by Dr. Carver.

This information was patiently gathered, researched and put together a publisher of
a magazine in Minneapolis Minnesota by the name of Rashad Hasad. He is a graduate of
the University of Minnesota and has been a journalist for more than 15 years. Let me
continue by telling you about some of the works and where they can be found online.

African American Chronicle along with AFCHRON.COM both computer software companies,
based out of Minneapolis, have just completed publishing the first volume of a four
volume set about Black Inventors and Innovators available on hard copy or CD-ROM.

Online subscriptions for the Volume are available to Schools and Colleges.

Volume I consists of illustrations of inventions for January, February and March.
There are more than 300 pages for this volume. It includes about 98% Illustrations
with short captions and abstract descriptions for the invention.

An Appendix is also included with the alphabetical list of Inventors, Products
created by George Washington Carver, and a Selected Annotated Bibliography.

The illustrated inventions are rare and were patented as early as 1834 to 2000. They
range from scientific advancement to engineering, Physics and medicine etc.

Students, Teachers and scholars as well as the general public will be fascinated by
the discovery of every volume of the four volume set.

The hard cover book and CD ROM is available to K-12 schools and Colleges.

The hard cover book or CD-ROM may be purchased from Baker and Taylor, ISBN
1-892-82-302.

Versions of the books will be available to the general public later this year in
CD-ROM form as well as the DVD format.
