With the Olympics already swallowing 2.2billion from the Lottery good causes budget,
and an estimated fifth of the entire budget until 2013 heading the same way,
Charities and not-for-profit organisations around the UK are bracing themselves for
a funding drought, and Big Accumulator thinks it can help.

"We're obviously, at the moment, a much smaller operation than the National
Lottery,\" Says creator Dan Eastmond \"but for many small organisations or short term
projects that slip under the Lottery Fund radar this can be a real alternative. Our
system gives any organisations direct control of how they raise funds, upping and
decreasing activity as they need it, and providing their supporters with a fun and
'hands on' way of showing support".

Charities and Good Causes accepted on to Big Accumulator's program will earn 20% of
revenue for all games they run.

Launched in early 2006, Big Accumulator is a highly interactive and playful \"smart
lottery\" that gives players a suite of tools to play games, jump from game to game,
spy on other players and even set up there own games. Taking it\'s cue from the
success of social networking sites such as You Tube and My Space, Big Accumulator
