A new category of engine oil called metal treatments quickly and inexpensively
re-metallizes worn engines. Traditionally internal combustion engines wear
themselves out at the rate of 1/1000\" per year, requiring engine rebuilds and
replacement spare parts every few years, costing thousand of pounds.
This is about to change as an innovative tiny metal particle called CSL (copper
silver lead spheres) suspended in engine oil can now repair and reverse engine wear,
and thereby postpone physical engine repairs almost indefinitely. A typical
re-metalizing engine repair requires a litre of this wonder lube, containing
billions of the tiny CSL particles. The particles are in the range of 2-20 microns
in diameter and look like tiny spheres, or space asteroids, under an electron
microscope. The tiny smooth particles pass easily through paper oil filters and are
only burnished into engine metal where there is heat and pressure, so no worries
about blocking up filters or oil lines.
The CSL particles were developed by the space program as a metal powder extreme
pressure lubricant that would tolerate the extremes of outer space. The innovative
approach to adapting for terrestrial use was simply to blend the powder into engine
oil to carry the particles around the engine to where they were needed.
Expect engines to last much longer and the running cost per mile to decrease for
most engine categories. Most engines are quickly returned to near factory
specifications and performance. Ametech may also be doing its\' bit for global
warming by reducing exhaust CO2 emissions. The oil is already widely available
throughout the USA, Canada, France, Belgium and Holland. Ametech UK is test
marketing the oil on the UK internet through its\' own website and eBAY but is
hopeful that the oil will soon follow more traditional automotive marketing channels
through UK Motor Factors and street corner automotive shops.
