2007 Woodstick Classic. This boys lacrosse rivalry between Garden City and Manhasset
high school began on Long Island in 1935 and has become the the oldest continuously
played boys lacrosse rivalry in the US.

Press Release Body = Garden City, New York, 3/27/07 - Newsphoto.com will provide
extensive photo coverage of the 2007 Woodstick Classic. This boys lacrosse rivalry
between Garden City and Manhasset high school began on Long Island in 1935 and has
become the the oldest continuously played boys lacrosse rivalry in the US. Last
year, Garden City won the classic in sudden death overtime, beating Manhasset 15 to
14. This year Manhasset will host Garden City in a night game on Saturday March 31st
at 7PM.

Last year Newsphoto.com edited and published 695 action photos from the game. This
year\'s coverage promises to be even more extensive with pre and post game photos and
up close game action from the field. All of the photos from the game will be
available for purchase online April 1st and selected images will be distributed to
the newspapers that serve the communities of each school. The Garden City News will
feature photos from the event in the sports section of their April 6th issue.
