This year\'s event will be part of "Virginia Beach 2007", an important regional celebration of America\'s historic 400th anniversary. Festive entertainment relating to the colonial period will be provided for the entire family, including interactive activities such as beekeeping, candle making, colonial medical practice presentations and craft demonstrations.
In addition, Heritage Celebration!, an area of educational demonstrations by local craft designers and guilds, has been a huge success since its premier presentation in 1997. An expansion of this program is planned for the 2007 event offering more exhibits to broaden awareness and appreciation of American craft production and preservation.
