Press Release Body = Print2PDF Server Edition is a network shareable printer that provides users with the ability to create an Adobe® PDF from any application that prints. This easy-to-use conversion server also enables workgroups to centralize document conversion into PDF using watched folders.
New features included in the 6.1.07 version are: support for the Windows Vista operating system, new program icons to take advantage of high-resolution displays on Windows Vista, Microsoft Word 2007 toolbar integration for one-click PDF creation with hyperlinks, bookmarks and table of contents, use of Microsoft Office 2007 applications for automated PDF conversion with watched folders (Folder2PDF), and the ability to automatically merge PDF files without user intervention to provide automated archiving to PDF.
Print2PDF Server Edition provides users with the ability to create, merge, encrypt and sign PDF documents using a Digital ID, while retaining control over document changes, print quality, and content extraction. All security permissions including low-resolution printing and text access for screen reader devices are supported. The Watermark and Stamp feature can brand documents by inserting text or an image (such as a corporate logo) directly into the PDF document. Folder2PDF (watched folders) provides multiple watched folders that can be used to centrally convert documents into PDF, automatically merge the PDF and e-mail the resulting PDF with the built-in SMTP client. Organizations can further reduce administration costs by centralizing PDF creation on Terminal Services or Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server.
Print2PDF Server Edition pricing starts at $299.95 for a 10 user license. Unlimited user pricing is $3,999.95. Single user licenses and third party application integration is also available.
