Press Release Body = Germany’s Initiative Mittelstand enterprise initiative has been evaluating products, services and solutions according to their benefit to small and medium-sized businesses since 2004, awarding particularly exceptional performance in the discipline with an innovation prize. Software solutions by UNIVERSE Software GmbH have received a prize in two award categories each from an independent jury of experts and editors from information and communications technology magazines and journals.
Innovation for small and medium-sized businesses – this is a title that the companies had to earn for their products, solutions and services to join the winners of the Initiative Mittelstand’s innovation prize for information and communications technology in 2007. Around 1,200 competitors took part in the race for the €150,000 prize. UNIVERSE Software GmbH was awarded twice for the most innovative products, once in office organisation and once in IT security.
“We’re thrilled that our solutions, pdf-FormServer and pdf-Recover, were able to make the grade amongst the huge numbers of competitors in the two categories,” says UNIVERSE Software GmbH CEO Thomas Bäcker. “After all, there were a lot of other highly interesting contenders for the coveted prize this year. These awards are a fantastic show of recognition for the years of development we’ve put into our products for saving PDF forms and configuring security settings in PDF documents.”
