Press Release Body = TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 18, 2007 - Afa Technologies, a leading
fabless design house specializing in digital TV solution, announced the launch of
its new 6-in-1 demodulator, AF9100 series for multi-standard mobile digital TV
(MDTV).

With a superior COFDM design team from Silicon Valley and Taiwan, Afa has introduced
three generations of high performance DVB-T demodulators since 2005. Those
demodulators have been used in versatile applications of PMP, PND, iDTV, digital
STB, PC/NB and car TV. On the strength of creditable experiences in digital TV
receiver, Afa rolls out its 6-in-1 multi-standard MDTV receiver and will have a live
demonstration in the coming Computex Taipei.

The 6-in-1 demodulator is engineered to provide multiple standard solutions for both
TV and audio across the world: DVB-H, DVB-T, T-DMB, DAB-IP, DAB/DAB+ and FM.

With multiple interfaces- SDIO, SPI, USB 2.0, I2S, and TS, AF9100 series provides
cost effective solution and easy integration with cell phone baseband as well as
multimedia processors. Inheriting the field-proven high-speed mobile reception of
the preceding DVB-T demodulators, AF9100 series demonstrates excellent Doppler
performance.

Compared with similar solutions in the market, the patented memory management scheme
greatly reduces the channel switching time to less than 20ms and enables multiple
parallel services simultaneously such as multiple video and audio programs, alarm,
messaging and ESG. In addition, the function of ultra fast synchronization ensures
ultra low power consumption.

Demonstration of the AF9100 series is available in Afa's suite (Grand Hyatt Hotel,
Room 1036) at Computex 2007, June 5~9.
