Boston-based Blues and Rock band, has commissioned a custom-painted guitar from
Painted Axe.

\"We share Bootz\'s enthusiasm and excitement over this project. He has sent us a
Peavey strat that we\'ll transform and fulfill his darkest wishes,\" said Michael Gauf
of Painted Axe. \"The guitar already is in the workshop and undergoing dramatic
changes.\".

Bootz has asked for a voodoo-themed guitar, fitting one of the personas of Black
Betty and the Bad Habits. \"I think the final product is going to look terrific!\"
said Bootz. \"We have some festival dates coming up, and I can\'t wait to bust it
out.\"

Painted Axe artists will employ several different mediums to bring his vision to
"life." "It's safe to say, we'll have something special and unexpected for Bootz
and his guitar," said Gauf. "With each commission, we try to bring a new twist, look
and effect to the guitars."
