Press Release Body = - Jazziz Magazine's "Person of the Year" saxophonist Donald
Harrison makes a rare appearance in Atlanta at Churchill Grounds on May 18th and
19th. Harrison, known as" The King of Nouveau Swing\" will showcase music from his
new smooth jazz release, 3D Vol. I. The recording features Chris Botti, Chuck Loeb,
and Eddie Palmieri.

Donald Harrison began recording this CD in 2005. This album marks Harrison's return
to the genre of smooth jazz. Harrison's last smooth jazz album was \"The Power of
Cool,\" released on CTI records in 1994. According to Harrison, he finished more
than half of the recording in his hometown, New Orleans, when Hurricane Katrina
halted the production of the album.

In the storm's aftermath, he became inspired to complete the album in spite of his
home\'s devastation. Harrison completed \"3D\" by traveling to San Francisco,
Atlanta, Boston, N.Y., Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. He also had the support of
many musicians, studios, engineers, artists, friends and family. This recording
showcases the triumph of the human spirit.

Harrison says "3D Vol. I is a synthesis of Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Funk that will
inspire you in any mood." Donald Harrison wrote and produced most of the music on
this project.
