Press Release Summary = HP alleges patent infringement in HP ink Cartridges on
Pelikan Hardcopy Deutschland GmbH

Press Release Body = HP, the leading brand in printers and ink cartridges, had filed
a lawsuit against Pelikan Hardcopy Deutschland GmbH since it was purported to have
infringed with the patent related to HP ink cartridges and formulation.

As per what HP claims, "The cartridges in question are apparently new, as opposed to
remanufactured products." HP also alleges that the HP ink cartridges were sold under
the Pelikan brand and were named as H06 and H08 colour cartridges.
A tight lipped UK spokesperson from Pelikan Hardcopy only mentioned that they have
plans on how to tackle this issue.

The lawsuit is filed with the Düsseldorf District Court, and it also asks for a stop
on this act of infringement. The company says, "The discovery of Pelikan\'s alleged
infringement is the result of ongoing worldwide testing and enforcement efforts
within HP\'s Imaging and Printing Group."
