of Professional Humane Educators member and author of Stories of Multiple Pets --
has launched an online pet education game entitle Pooch 'N Kitty Help. The
prototype can be seen at www.poochnkittyhelp.com. The game aims to teach children
ages ten to 12 the care and responsibility involved once a pet has been adopted.

"The game highlights basic dog care, financial responsibility and time commitment
necessary to be a dog guardian," says Glo Rod.

Pooch 'N Kitty ties into one of the goals of Stories. By using both of these tools
together Glo Rod hopes to share the joy -- and responsibility -- of pet ownership
with both adults and children.

Another tool in the works is www.cafepress.com/multiplepets -- a website featuring
merchandise for people who are proud to be "parents" of multiple pets.
