Press Release Summary = - On March 16th Travel Adventures will celebrate its
twentieth anniversary. Dave Snyder founded Travel Adventures in 1987 following a
successful career as an English teacher with the Lapeer Community Schools. The
student travel business has grown from a two person operation out of an extra
bedroom into a tour operation that employs thirty-four full-time staff and a larger
number of part-time seasonal staff.

twentieth anniversary. Dave Snyder founded Travel Adventures in 1987 following a
successful career as an English teacher with the Lapeer Community Schools. The
student travel business has grown from a two person operation out of an extra
bedroom into a tour operation that employs thirty-four full-time staff and a larger
number of part-time seasonal staff.

Since 1987, Travel Adventures has served more than a half million student travelers.
They specialize in educational travel experiences to support science, social studies
and Spanish curricula, as well as performance opportunities for drama, choral, band
and orchestra groups.

Dave attended Michigan State University and earned teacher certification from
Eastern Michigan University. Within the travel industry, he has earned the Certified
Tour Professional (CTP) designation. Dave has served as a member of the Board of
Directors for both the National Tour Association and the Student and Youth Travel
Association. In 2002, he was named NTA Bulldog of the Year, as the leading volunteer
advocate for government affairs.

Dave and his wife Juli reside in Lapeer. They have three children: Jennie, Evan, and
Lindsay.
