Ltd, a fast growing construction company with offices across all major metros, has won this year's prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Environment Management, at the recently held convention on Corporate Response to Climate Change, from 8 -10 June 2007 at Palampur in Himachal Pradesh.
Mfar was conferred the award based on an assessment, by an independent International Jury dealing with various aspects of environment preservation and protection. Mfar was applauded for its incessant efforts in preserving ecological balance by minimizing adverse environmental impact, while carrying out its construction and business activities.
The Golf Link Software Park, IBC Knowledge Park, Mfar-Manyata Tech Park, TATA Sherwood Housing Project, Platinum City are a few of the projects completed by Mfar Constructions in Bangalore.
Mfar Constructions won the award amid stiff competition from 177 companies. Several environmental performance indicators were monitored and evaluated according to World Environment Foundation's stringent parameters for grant of this award.

In meeting the objective of improving competitiveness of business through development of leadership, the Institute of Directors has instituted the Golden Peacock Environment Awards in association with the World Environment Foundation (WEF), to promote excellence in the area of quality environment management.
