Press Release Body = Hartford, Connecticut (June 17, 2007) - It was a crowning moment at the Hilton Hartford Hotel when Billie Jo Anderson , Mrs. Connecticut - America 2006, proudly handed over her state title and crown to this year's winner, Sheree Farrell. Judges were tasked with a difficult undertaking as some of Connecticut's most accomplished married women competed for the title of Mrs. Connecticut America 2007 and the opportunity to vie for the national Mrs. America 2007 title later this fall in Tucson Arizona. The contestants, all uniquely extraordinary, showcased their leadership, humanity, intelligence, and beauty - but only one woman walked away with the crown - Sheree Farrell. A resident of Plainville, Farrell has been married to her husband Brian for 4 years. She feels that the Mrs. Connecticut America Competition was a great experience and cannot wait to work on preparing herself for the National Mrs. America Competition in September. Sheree feels she has the time, energy and fortitude to be an excellent representative for the state of Connecticut. She feels she has a great understanding of the hard work and diligence it takes to be a married woman managing the home, family, volunteerism and career. Her philosophy is "Carpe Diem" .
