RANDY ELLEFSON TO ISSUE NEW ALBUM JULY 31; MP3S AND NEW WEBSITE AVAILABLE

JUNE 26, 2007 (GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND) - Hard rock instrumental guitarist Randy
Ellefson will release his second album, Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid, on July
31, 2007. The first single, "Blue Sky", is now available as a free download:
http://www.randyellefson.com/BlueSky_RandyEllefson.mp3.

"This album sounds much better than the first and is more straightforward rock and
metal," said Ellefson, who also produced and co-engineered the effort. Drummer Jeff
Moos, formerly of Mercury Rising, and session bassist Dave DeMarco have contributed
to the album, producing a tight performance that would do early Metallica proud on
tracks like "Pitter Patter" and "Mantra Dreamscape".

"Even my hard driving songs tend to pump people up," remarks Ellefson, "and I often
write major key, upbeat stuff. I just like fun music and that's what I write."

The track listing of ten songs includes: "Better Things To Do", "A Trill A Minute",
"Blue Sky", "The Waltz", "Everlast", "Just Passing Through", "The Key", "Pitter
Patter", "Mantra Dreamscape", and "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid".

In addition to the new single, Ellefson has revamped his official site,
www.randyellefson.com, adding among other things a flash media player where more
songs from the new album can be heard in their entirety. Visitors who join the free
Demo Club can also download another song from the album, "The Key", plus a demo
version of a song from the next album, "Crunch Time", with more features to be added
regularly. Demo Club members can also access more music from the first album,
videos, guitar lessons, and tablature of songs.

Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid will be available online July 31 from
randyellefson.com, CDBaby.com, Amazon.com, and Guitar9.com.
