Because of the doubt given to offshore outsourcing companies, mainly trust issues, the said company decided to speak up and defend the industry in the country.
Wicked Innovations spokesperson said, "Companies from different parts of the world should not think that outsourcing in the Philippines is such a big risk for their organization. Also, there are well established outsourcing companies in our country, like Wicked Innovations, that assures to finish a project on-time and as wanted."
A question was asked on how can they assure that the customer won\'t have a hard time in communicating with the staff like what happens in some transactions in India. He answered, "Filipinos are among the best IT professionals in the world. We have a very good command of the English language and western culture. And for being known as hospitable, service-oriented and customer-oriented individuals are just plus points."
Another question was raised during the interview. A member of the press asked, "According to one article I read, one of the major disadvantages of offshore outsourcing is the risk of confidentiality. For example, a payroll or data entries, all the informations will be sent to the outsourcing company. How would you gain your client\'s trust on this?"
As an answer, Wicked Innovations spokesperson said, "I think that goes for every outsourcing company in the world and not only in the Philippines. All companies operating procedures differ from one another so I cannot speak for them. But as for Wicked Innovations, after and doing the the project, we keep strict confidentiality of our cooperation."
And the last question asked was about the possible business threats in the service provider\'s country, which Philippines is a special mention, because of terrorism concerns. He said, "The Philippine government is prioritizing the support of the local IT industry. This industry has a great contribution in our economy so rest assured that if ever there will be any likely change in the environment surrounding, the services from the IT industry will not be affected in a drastic way."
