New York, August 15, 2007 - ArtBhoomi.com announces an online art contest commemorating the 60th anniversary of India\'s independence. The contest is free and open to all artists and students from any country. Contest entries can be from any medium of art including but not limited to painting, design, fashion, photography, digital art, pottery, sculpture, and performing arts. Entries are to be submitted during Aug.15-Nov.30, 2007, to the ArtBhoomi website in digital image, audio or video formats. The contest winners of the following prizes, selected from entries across all art categories, will be announced in January 2008. The \"ArtBhoomi Best Art 2007- First Prize\", \"ArtBhoomi Best Art 2007- Second Prize\", and \"ArtBhoomi Best Art 2007- Third Prize\" will carry cash awards of USD 100, USD 75, and USD 50, respectively, in addition to prize certificates.
