has now been opened for Gospel Music fans and readers of www.thesoutherngospel.com


Press Release Body = Caraway Media Group is pleased to announce the opening for
nominations in this years' The Southern Gospel Music Awards-2007. The Southern
Gospel Music Awards are completely fan based every step of the way! The fans decide
who gets nominated and who makes the TOP10 from which the fans then vote for the TOP
5 and then the fans get to vote in the final round of balloting. Last year an
incredible 2.4 million votes were cast during the voting period.

The voting is done by on-line balloting at www.thesoutherngospel.com and no
subscriptions are required. This ensures that EVERY FAN gets a vote and not just a
limited group. Last year votes came in from all 50 states and over 80 countries
around the world.

Caraway Media Group president Charles Brady stated, "This is one of the most
exciting times of the year for us. It also is one of the busiest for us as well.\"

Each fan gets 3 chances to vote. That first chance begins today as fans begin
nominating their TOP 10 favorites in over 35 categories. The nomination ballots will
close at midnight on September 10th and the TOP 10 will be announced this year on
September 15th.
