Mayor Richard M. Daley and Attack Athletics' principal Tim Grover-trainer to a
clientele list that reads like a Who's Who of the National Basketball Association,
including Michael Jordan-carried out a ribbon-cutting and opening ceremony on
Wednesday, August 29, 2007 for this state-of-the art athletic training facility.
Centerpoint Properties developed the building on five acres of land in the
California Business Park located at California Avenue and the Eisenhower Expressway.
After several years of planning, ground was broken in February of 2007 on the
building, which boasts 35,000 square feet of gymnasium, an 8,000-square-foot weights
room and 13,000 square feet of offices and locker rooms.
Phil Gibby and Ken Ross of Jameson Realty Group's Commercial Division represented
Attack Athletics in the transaction.
