Press Release Body: Miami, FL 09/14/2007._ Prestigious contest "Song of the Year" awards singer Mariadela as the winner of the best pop song of July's round with her song "Busca Tu Voz" from her single EP "En Silencio". The song will enter the annual round with the opportunity to become the best song of the year 2007.
The experienced and renowned singer/songwriter Norah Jones was a member of the jury that reviewed "Busca Tu Voz" and proclaimed it winner of the month.
"This has been a very valuable and inspirational experience, and also an honor. I am very excited about the response to this first single." Mariadela commented.
Considering this contest is mostly geared toward the American market, the Peruvian singer has been so far the only artist who has won with a song in Spanish. This another manifestation of the success she is obtaining with her single "En Silencio," after its release in March of this year in Miami, Florida.
Mariadela is currently starting the production of her first CD which will reveal and offer only material of her own, and will count with the vision of producer Francisco Murias, nominated to the Latin Grammy in 2006. Murias will direct the production of the album in Lima, Peru and in Miami, FL.
Mariadela will be traveling to her native country and back to Miami to record such an awaited album.
