Steps Launches Interactive DVDs With Fresh Approach To Learning

My Learning Steps will launch two new DVD’s, “Learning My ABC’s” and “Learning My 123’s” where parent/caregiver and child interaction is first priority. Giving the parent/caregiver the opportunity to narrate the video themselves facilitates dialogue and face to face human interaction with their child which will foster important language development.
Created by using teaching strategies now incorporated into today’s progressive classroom curriculums, My Learning Steps DVD’s make it simple for a parent to participate in their child’s learning development. All DVD’s come with a narrator’s guide which offers helpful pointers on how to become the narrator.
With the ability to narrate the DVD’s comes many benefits. The child hears and sees how the mouth forms pronunciation of letters, words or numbers, from a familiar face. The DVD’s encourage dialogue which promotes language development between parent and child, while allowing the learning to move at the child’s pace. Talking and listening with a child builds communication skills, increases self esteem, and social skills. Finally, this experience encourages positive reinforcement, support and unconditional love to flow naturally through the family.
