PUTTING THE `PROFESSIONAL` BACK IN PRO SPORTS

Press Release Author: James Brown

Industry: Education

Press Release Summary: PUTTING THE "PROFESSIONAL" BACK IN PRO SPORTS

Press Release Body: (Allen, TX)-Professional sports is in trouble as many across the
board have seen scandals arise. But, there is hope and it lies with the future
generations of players, according to basketball coach and expert James E. Brown.

To help prevent players from High School to professionals from using illegal
performance drugs etc. Mr. Brown suggests using his system for turning young
amateurs into respectful, disciplined pros in sports as well as in life.

"The problem is that a lot of players are taught to win and make money above all
else," says Mr. Brown. "Professionalism and common decency seem to be lacking in
sports in the 21st century. From the get go, young players need to be taught what it
takes to succeed and how to do so without sacrificing respect for others and
themselves."

Basketball, like other sports is a fiercely competitive game, but in his new book,
Maximum Performance Basketball: In-Season Workout Book for Players 7th Grade - 12th
Grade, Mr. Brown shows precisely how to improve not only skills, but focus and
self-control as well.

"In addition to improving athletic performance, Maximum Performance Basketball
builds leadership skills, enhances motivation, creates self-esteem and improves
character while boosting confidence," says Mr. Brown. "These are life skills and
lessons that are critical to the success of youth today."

This essential guide for aspiring basketball players, 7th grade through 12th grade
is designed to improve passing, shooting, rebounding and dribbling. Along with
desire, dedication and determination, Mr. Brown's method will assist players in
achieving their maximum potential every time they step onto the court.

Mr. Brown has served as assistant coach at Eastfield and Navarro College. During his
tenure at Navarro, the team went on to set the highest scoring record in junior
college history. Today he is the president and CEO of JEB Basketball School, Inc.

"I believe that the best way to learn a skill is to practice it until it is
perfected," says Mr. Brown. "Through hard work, perseverance and by following the
workouts outlined in this book, students will learn how to gain recognition,
self-satisfaction, a college scholarship or maybe even a professional sports
contract."
