Press Release Summary: Between the 23rd and 25th of October TOPEX took part at the
6th edition of the International Broadband Communications Conference, The Third
Wave, held at World Trade Plaza, Bucharest

Press Release Body: \"The International Broadband Communications Conference\" is a
referential yearly event, one of the most important from the area of international
IT&C events.
This 6th edition was entitled \"The Third Wave\" and it was opened to the major
technology creators, equipment producers, operators, application developers and
regulatory authorities.

"Voice over Broadband in Next Generation Networks" was the title of the presentation
performed by Radu Balaci - Business Development Manager at TOPEX and it was
sustained in the second day of the event in Network core technologies section, next
to important international companies like Nokia Siemens Networks, Romtelecom,
Intrarom and IBM.
Being in front of a fundamental change, which started five years ago when the first
VoIP solutions were presented to the market, TOPEX presentation was based on Voice
over Broadband needs and standardization efforts, benefits, challenges and today
deployments.
For TOPEX this was a good opportunity to meet professionals from the
Telecommunication Industry and also to present its NGN solutions in front of a
target audience.

The event was organized under the traditional patronage of the Committee for
Information Technologies and Communications of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania.
The official opening benefited of the presence of His Excellency Bogdan Olteanu,
President of Chamber of Deputies of Romania, His Excellency Calin Popescu Tariceanu,
Prime Minister of Romania, His Excellency Iuliu Winkler, Minister of Communications
and Information Technology, Mr. Dan Georgescu, President of The National Regulatory
Authority for Communications and Dr. Varujan Pambuccian, Chairman of the IT&C
Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, the Romanian Parliament.
