Adesso Makes PC Navigation Effortless with the Introduction of the Browser Cat 2 Button Touchpad

Released on: November 28, 2007, 9:35 am

Press Release Author: Megan Saulsbury

Industry: Retail

Press Release Summary: Simply glide your finger over the smooth surface of the pad
and gently tap it or click the buttons to perform all cursor movement functions

Press Release Body: Walnut, Calif. - November 28, 2007 -- Adesso Inc., a leading
manufacturer of computer input peripherals, has announced the debut of the ATP-400.
The Browser Cat 2 Button Touchpad was designed for users to be able to navigate
through the programs without the hassle of pushing your mouse. The ATP-400 is
available for the striking price of $49.99.

Why push a mouse when you can just point? The ATP-400 makes it easier than ever to
control your computer. To perform basic mouse functions, simply glide your finger
over the smooth surface of the Browser CatŪ to point, then tap on the pad or press
on the buttons to click. Both "left" and "right" click functions can be activated
by tapping on upper right area of the pad.

The edge-extending features make it easy to keep moving the cursor after you've run
into the touchpad's edge. Virtual buttons, sound, speed, sensitivity and
orientation settings can be customized via the GlidePoint advance feature driver.
Highlighting any items on-screen is quickly accessible by double-tapping and holding
your finger on the pad or by holding the left button as your finger glides to grab,
drag, and highlight any item. Noteworthy features include a forward and back
browser option, horizontal and vertical scrolling, as well as zoom-in and zoom-out.

Adesso products are available through Ingram Micro, Synnex and D&H direct vendors,
including AMAZON, Buy.com, PC Mall, CDW, mWave, TigerDirect and Insight; retail
stores such as Fry\'s and Micro Center; and leading catalogs, including CDW, PC Mall
