Santa Helps Keep the Peace

Released on: November 8, 2007, 3:29 pm

Press Release Author: Steve Neale

Industry: Internet & Online

Press Release Summary: Christmas arguments with kids look like being shortened due to help from Santa and some smart use of SMS technology.

Press Release Body: With Christmas just around the corner, mums all over the world are uttering those immortal words to their children once more

“Santa only comes to children who’ve been good!”

It’s the most common and oldest form of parental control we use to blackmail our children into behaving at this time of the year.

In this age of technology with our children often technically more advanced than us, do they believe the threat? Well the very youngest might be easy to fool but those from 4 + who’ve experienced school might be a little harder to convince.

Nottingham based EM360 Ltd have just launched an innovative and beautifully designed site to tackle the little doubters and beat them at their own game!

www.message-from-santa.co.uk allows parents to stop any arguments and dispel any doubts at all that Santa is alive and well and getting ready to deliver the presents.

As soon as the bad behaviour starts the parent announces that they’re going to send a message to Santa to tell him about the child’s bad behaviour. The parent then writes the message they want to receive back, for example;

“Hello David, Santa here. I’ve just finished loading your presents onto the sleigh. I hope you’re being good.”

The parent then sends this message, which is re-routed back to their phone a minute later and appears as ‘From Santa’ rather than a number.

Once shown to the child the bad behaviour is replaced with unshakeable belief in Santa and the magic of Christmas.

This parental control element is just one of many features on the site, but certainly puts this messaging site head and shoulders above the rest.
