Press Release Body: Doug Woodall, owner of SpywareBiz.com offers a bit of advice to
online users. Unless you're really good with computer security, you need AntiVirus,
AntiSpyware, and a reliable Firewall. The casual user will not be able to stop their
system from becoming vulnerable.

Asked how do make a decision when choosing a reliable computer security product, he
replies,

I can say there are reliable products out there that do their job. I know because
its my business. If I dont sell good products, I dont get repeat business. Simple
business rule.

Give the people what they want.

Granted there are also awful products out there that will take your money, and in
some cases, even infect your computer for their own evil purposes.

So, its a lot like any other undertaking you start in life, educate yourself about
whats out there and then make your decision.

When asked how he got started online, he says, Ever since I first got online back in
the 80's, Ive been hooked on the nuances of securing data as it travels back and
forth.

I know, he says, you're saying "Geek". Its ok, I can take it.

I started out with a Commodore 64 with a 300 baud modem. Being online meant posting
to BBS'es.

It amazed me, becoming a businessperson online. I quickly found I needed to change
the way I participated, as a online user. My view was always that the Internet
exists for sharing information, and it does that quite well.

In some cases, too well.

I quickly realized that to sell something online, you have to give something back.
There are millions of websites, some with pics of who a person is, or even video of
a person, out there for us to view. But what we crave is the writing, the sharing of
words, thats the reason for deciding if we want to have a relationship of any kind
with other users.

So I began participating in chats and forums and other help sites. The satisfaction
of helping is just as good, if not better in some cases than making the all
important sale.
