Empire Ventilation Equipment Co. announced today that it's expanding its line of
high quality louvers to include three new vent models: cast aluminum brick/block
vents, extruded aluminum vents, and flange extruded vents.

These vents are smaller than regular louvers. Traditionally, their main use has been
in commercial buildings. But over the past few years, they've been "discovered" by
architects and engineers who have increasingly begun to use them for residences.
"Their size can be customized and they come in a variety of materials and colors,"
says Brian Taylor, Vice President and Secretary of Empire Ventilation Equipment.
"That presents an advantage to designers who are endeavoring to find smaller louvers
that are attractive looking and compatible with the décor of the home."

"Structurally, they're also much stronger than those available at hardware stores,"
Taylor adds. "Like all the rest of our products, these cast aluminum brick/block
vents, extruded aluminum vents, and flange extruded vents are constructed from over
90% recyclable materials.\"
